“About 4.5 hours north of LA is arroyo seco. A beautiful campground with river access and a 45 mile out and back on a cliffs edge, this is a wonderful place to spend a weekend. It’s not for aggressive hiking, in fact, much better for a little r&r by the campfire. Take some good food, make a batch cocktail, maybe even bring a few mushrooms… who’s to say? Enjoy yourself out there. on your way home, drive west to the coast and cut down through Carmel and Big Sur for lunch.”
