“I look forward to Ann Helen Petersons gift guides every year - small business focused and really thoughtful for the “hard to buy””

“i've followed Anne Helen Petersen since her Buzzfeed News days (RIP), and her take on the zeitgiest is wide-ranging, well-reported (journalistic integrity, what a thing!) and consistently on the pulse. everything from ballerina farms to making friends to irish lit to yuppies, it's worth a dive in.”

“It has been such a joy to watch Anne Helen Petersen’s career evolve. While I found her through my love of celebrity culture and history, she has used Culture Study to examine so many diverse topics of interest to her about the ways we build culture. The community around this newsletter was my first Rec League-like experience, with lots generous people willing to share information with others.”

“This was my AHP gateway “essay”. Her Bama Rush series turned me into a subscriber.”

“Hands down my favorite newsletter on the internet.”

“Interesting, thought-provoking, and funny”
