Ginny Branch“I love this app! It is helping me remember what I own and shop my own closet. Plus it’s really helpful as a notorious overpacker to think through the days in terms of outfits so I don’t bring more than I need! Progress!”

Anna Denise“Indyx is an app where you can upload your entire wardrobe (yes, you do have to take photos of everything or use product links) and then use it to play Cher Horovitz and create outfits and log your daily outfits. The idea behind the app is that you don't need to buy new things (which is true I think for everyone, but definitely me) but just get better at combining your existing clothes. The paid version also offers stats, so if you log your outfits religiously, you can actually see cost per wear/versatility of your wardrobe. In addition to this, you can also let yourself be styled by other members, or pay stylists to style you - which I have done and really really liked and has reinvigorated my desire to get better at styling myself and enjoying the pieces I already have. Really like the UX and functionality, wish the social piece was a bit more extensive - it's quite difficult to interact and find other members, but even without this, this app is already transforming the way I dress. Strong recommend!”

Juliana“Yes! Switched from a different app to this one, and especially love the ability to send it a receipt for a new item I bought. Really helps me use more of my closet and also recognize what I'm not using. So fun to see the cost/wear go down with my favorite items.”

Love this app. It's a great way to plan or just keep yourself from buying the same white shirt again. Pro tip: if you just use your online purchase receipts to find the stuff you bought, you can just upload the images and not take a photo of everything IRL.”

It is eye opening to see just how many items are actually in your closet and made me realize, perhaps I don’t need another greige babàa sweater after all… you can put together outfits, calculate your cost per wear on items, and see what your style looks like off of the hanger.”

Julia Ludington“My dream Clueless closet, IRL. The Indyx app (and its subscription version, which is $8 a month) is EVERYTHING. I get to see my wardrobe digitally, create outfits, make packing lists (something I abhor), and see real data on my usage — which helps me refine and define my style better than I’ve ever been able to before.”

Amy“i’ve been using this app for years and could not love it more. i used to subscribe to the weekly stylist which i loved, and have also gotten a lookbook. i use this to track my cost per wear (roughly) and check my closet before i buy something new to make sure it fits well or isn’t a duplicate of something i already own. plus making outfits is fun! it also makes packing super easy”

Janelle“I’ve always cared deeply and thought intensely about my personal style. However, I was once (and can still be) a real shopaholic. After using the Indyx app (as well as Allison Bornstein’s three word method!), I’ve curated such a strong sense of security in my style, and I know what I want and need in my closet. It’s so fun to make outfits, create packing lists, and to keep of daily log of one of life’s most sure things: getting dressed.”
