The first time I went, the legendary cake shop was still open (oh, that carrot cake) but now they have a cafe by St. John. On my last visit, I came away with a history of children's literature and a novel about rare snails. The meticulously curated stationery shop, Present and Correct, is next door, and the Swedenborg House (always worth stopping in) is around the corner.”

Michaela“I only recently learned that The London Review of Books has its own bookshop. Obviously, they have a great selection, with lots of recommendations from the booksellers sprinkled throughout the shop (I love when bookshops do this). It's also connected to a small St. John coffee shop & bakery – heaven.”
