I only recently learned that The London Review of Books has its own bookshop. Obviously, they have a great selection, with lots of recommendations from the booksellers sprinkled throughout the shop (I love when bookshops do this). It's also connected to a small St. John coffee shop & bakery – heaven.

“Marvelous compact shop packed with a well-chosen, wide-ranging selection of books. The first time I went, the legendary cake shop was still open (oh, that carrot cake) but now they have a cafe by St. John. On my last visit, I came away with a history of children's literature and a novel about rare snails. The meticulously curated stationery shop, Present and Correct, is next door, and the Swedenbo”
