    “Copied from my Letterboxd review: A great introduction to the world, according to this newbie. I've seen the prequels (a bridge I will cross when I get to them again), but I never watched the originals, so here I am. When I say this is an introduction, I mean you're getting dialogue like "This is a light saber," and "What is the Force?" You're getting Han Solo being a Hot Asshole, which was attractive in 1977, I guess; weird chemistry between Luke and Leia (yikes!); Leia being an absolute badass despite being a princess and also it being a 1977 movie (it's Carrie Fisher, after all); and a short-lived defeat of the Empire (this is not a spoiler; y'all have known this for nearly half a century). It's fun and the ending is satisfying. But it never does end, does it? Onto the next one and then the next one...”
