Being so depressed you write a song about a hawk called “Monsieur Pantaloons”? Rescuing a cat who’s been living in mausoleum?? You can really do anything here. I have written multiple poems about this place, and so probably has every writer in Brooklyn. It’s a little bittersweet for me, because I used to go like every day, and can’t walk so much these days because of disability, but Greenwood has my heart forever.”
