Wynne“This gets a big CW for sexual violence, but is one of the best memoirs I’ve ever read. It will likely leave you feeling hopeless about our justice system and treatment of survivors of sexual violence, but also hopeful/inspired by the strength and courage of people (particularly Chanel). It’s a really powerful book.”

Katie“A triumph of courage and vulnerability. A perspective on a world that I truly think most men do not know exists. I asked my boyfriend to read it. It just felt important that he knew Chanel’s story. Should be required reading!!”

Aya C“Written by a tender powerhouse about something horrible that happened to her but doesn’t define her. TW/CW.”

Maggie Knight“Still one of my favorite memoirs to date (went thru a memoir phase a few years back and I still like to dabble on occasion). As a warning, it is uncomfy to read and that's why it's so important.”
Cally“A moving (albeit heavy) memoir by Chanel Miller, someone we all should know. She's a survivor, and her willingness to write and share this book is proof of that. This book is heavy (check TWs). Narrated by Chanel herself, there is no other way to take in her story.”
