Down the Drain

“it was like a memoir at first.. but now it's just like, my first BOOK”

“The writing, the stories, the lore. Just WOW. Just like Britney’s memoir, this book was so eye opening & really gives a good glimpse of what celebrities’ lives are really like. Reading the physical copy could be cool, but I highly recommend the audiobook, as the queen herself narrates it. You can truly feel the emotion in her voice as she reads through her own life journey.”

“julia fox’s memoir - listen to it as an audiobook where her voice is recording >>>”

“I love a memoir as an audio book. Julia’s is everything you love about a memoir—juicy, emotional, soul-baring—while also at points listening like a gossip girl episode. It feels true, but there are moments, constantly, of “I cannot believe that happened.” Julia narrates, and it feels like a juicy, juicy gossip sesh.”

“This book explains where she got the confidence to cut the 3 inch waistband off her jeans and wear it as a tube top 3.9/5”

“If no one has recommended this, it’s fabulous. I “read” it in like 3 days. Her life has been so full and interesting, from Italian summers to a dominatrix hustle to, of course, Kanye.”

“An incredible book written about Julia Fox’s life. Unexpected, Relatable, extravagant.”

““As I look at all the other girls, I realize I'm not like them. They're beautiful, but they willingly fade into the background, waiting for their come-up. They’re party decorations, ornaments to be admired. I'm not like that anymore. I already had my come-up, and I'm not going back to being objectified and used as fuel for the egos of insecure men.” Julia Fox, the voice of her generation!!!”

“Started this as a hate read ended it as a Fox fan 🦊”

“This book is mesmerizing. It draws you back in again and again and again through the wild stories, unbelievable experiences, and a peek inside Julia Fox's brain. Make this recommendation even better by listening to it on audiobook to hear the exact way Julia meant it to be read.”

“I love Julia, and loved reading this at the time living in the neighborhood she grew up in. As a fellow Millenial whose youth was heavily colored and informed by the opioid crisis, I think parts of her book resonated with my experience and the amount of loss we all went through. Such a good read.”
