Found Party: The D&D Night

“Impulsively, I signed up for a D&D night that puts together random strangers based on a player-type quiz and you get a D&D zodiac sign (I'm an Explorer!). As the event approached, I got nervous that I'd get paired with a bunch of mean and intense nerdbros who'd get frustrated that I was a beginner who just learned what a Nat 20 is, but the DM and tablemates were very kind and didn't mansplain to this little newbie. In fact, there was another newbie at the table with me! We played a pretty cool three-hour adventure adapted from Pathfinder (please do not assume I know what that is or care). The DM broke out some miniatures!! I was a cleric and somehow I saved the day again in my little support role.”
