Project Hail Mary

“One of the first films I’ve thoroughly enjoyed in a long time. Space! Ryan Gosling in a cardigan! I laughed, I cried. Amaze amaze amaze!”

“So refreshing to have an interstellar sci-fi based on science, curiosity and camaraderie (rather than violence, adversarial interaction and fear). A surprisingly uplifting and humorous book for the title. I co-read, audio and book, and the audio was especially fun.”

“I’m concurrently listening and reading Project Hail Mary and prefer listening. Being able to hear the different characters (especially Rocky!) adds so much.”

“The audiobook is incredible. It’s my favorite audiobook I’ve ever listened to. I read the book but listening to it was a completely different experience. Then watching it was also amazing. All are 5 star experiences.”

“Very fun read and cool (sometimes dark) stuff that was left out of the movie”

“This is hands-down the best audiobook I’ve ever listened to. The narrator is 10/10.”

““It's a simple idea, but also stupid. Thing is, when stupid ideas work, they become genius ideas. We'll see which way this one falls.””

“I’m over halfway through this audiobook. Found it originally through TikTok but it truly is so good! It’s an adventure sci-fi book so there is some technical writing but the storyline is fantastic. I love the protagonist as a character too. The speaker for the book’s narration is very talented and the reading gets very immersive.”

“We watched this with the kids this weekend and we all loved it. The score? Beautiful. The visuals? Stunning. Ryan Goslings style? Impeccable. Our only complaint? Way too long.”

“Amaze! Amaze! Amaze!”

“I’ve never gotten so attached to a rock. Also this is prolly the first doomsday book I wasn’t horribly stressed out for so that was quite delectable”

“as an Andy Weir lover, i read this as soon as it came out and i remember being in tears for at least 30 pages of it. so glad it got the recognition it deserved with the movie finally out. if you liked the movie (and you like science) you will love this book.”

“With the movie coming up soon, I highly recommend reading this book. Even if you’re not a book lover, it is easy to read and will draw you right in to the story world”

“the audiobook is amazing! love the voices used”

“Yes everyone loves it but it is of utmost importance to read the book!!!”

“this is my favorite book! i loved the elements and the plot of project hail mary: space, intelligent, introspection, loneliness, high stakes, and companionship. also very humorous. ryan gosling in the live adaptation was a plus”

“The movie's release earlier this year sparked my curiosity about the book. It turned out to be a highly entertaining read, balancing both fun and serious moments.”

“I saw it before the movie and it’s just so good. Even if you don’t think you like sci fi give it a try! And the movie is also excellent.”
