Traci FlemingFirst to rec“A genius new app that allows you to digitally search across all your cookbooks at once, and type in what’s in your fridge to find every recipe that you can make, and what page to flip to to get started. *featured in The Wonderlyst #112”

Courtney G“a cookbook collector? or cookbook hoarder? this allows you to scan your full collection and search for a recipe within the app, pulling from all your books to help you find that one recipe you forgot which book it was in!”

Juliana“you tag all the cookbooks you own and it helps you use your cookbooks more by indexing them all at once and making the recipe ingredients fully searchable. perfect when you find a gem at the farmers market or through a CSA or in your pantry and don't know what to do with it. or when you just have a craving for a specific ingredient. (Its browser version EatYourBooks has a bad UI; the app is better.)”

Sophia Lucchesi“So… I have 98 cookbooks. And will probably add more to my collection. CookShelf allows you to scan the barcode off your cookbook, and then you can search for recipes easily on your phone (plus ingredient lists!). But the genius part is that recipes aren’t listed in the app - you need to crack open your existing books. Game-changer for me.”
Lexi“Use this app to scan the barcodes from cookbooks you already own, thus organizing their contents on your digital shelf. There you can search for ingredients or organize recipes into lists. Subscription costs $40/year or $5/month.”
Britt“Using my cookbooks so much more with this app. Also helps me use up ingredients in my fridge. So helpful!”
