Sarah Beck“Read the Booker prize winning Kazuo Ishiguro novel (emotionally repressed butler, what makes a moral life, longing, regret!) and then watch the excellent movie adaptation - Anthony Hopkins, Emma Thompson, Christopher reeve, Hugh grant (this cast!). Both formats made better by experiencing the other.”

Will S“a wonderful story of identity told through journal entries on a short road trip through the english countryside. a lifelong butler reminisces on his life and career where he placed utmost value on duty and excellence. traces of humanity are visibly peaking out from beneath the surface and we watch as they're suppressed or actually spill out.”
