Blackwing 602 Pencils

“what do chuck jones and lydia tar have in common? devoted users of the blackwing 602. a box of 12 is $34, but once you try it you’ll see. get yourself a pencil extender to get the most bang for your buck.”

“Because I’ve never stopped loving school supplies”

“Yes at $3 a pop this is an expensive pencil. But Blackwings have been the premier writing tool of choice for people like John Steinbeck and Chuck Jones. There is nothing that writes quite as smoothly or dark as a Blackwing. I prefer the 602 for their slightly longer hold on sharper edges. Plus the flanged eraser holder keeps it from rolling away.”

“I also like the Natural. These have become trendy in fancy little shops but it's a classic and it's great and I love to draw and sketch with it. Plus, the flat, square, replaceable eraser is the absolute best. Thwart AI. Write with an excellent pencil.”
