Maybe it's a nostalgic thing for me since it was one of the first times I had quality yakiniku after moving here, or it could also be the extremely local vibes atmosphere of the place that feels like I stepped into my relative's home for dinner (I was so nervous the first time I came here because I felt like everyone was staring, but the food left such an impression on me that I NEEDED to come back). Yakiniku Ebata also has also been on Tabelog's 焼肉百名店 is the 100 best yakiniku restaurants in Japan list every year consecutively since 2018, so you KNOW it's good.”
