“this now Mexican woman-owned classic diner has been around since 1938. the pancakes here have been recognized as some of L.A.'s fluffiest, though I usually go for their two-egg breakfast and an English muffin. the shiny deep buttoned red booths exude a nostalgic elegance that paired with the carpeted floors creates a welcomed and cozy campy atmosphere. I've yet to try their pies!”

“The perfect pancakes. Dupar’s has been an LA institution for nearly 100 years. The pancakes come golden, fluffy and stacked high. The proper way to eat them is doused in clarified butter and maple syrup. Add bacon if you’re feeling extra crazy I looking for something sweet and salty.”
