Now, it’s a Gramercy staple on E 33rd/btw 3rd & Lex, so if you’re in the area (hopefully taking care because it is close to the hospitals now and I know our family went there after a visit)—don’t forget that it’s the most classic, Kosher Jewish deli in the city (Katz’s is not Kosher!) And the staff is classically New York: direct, quick, kind but no superficial politeness here.”

SARA“Now on first or third avenue! Pricy, but classic. Consistently delicious matzoh ball soup and pastrami.”
