“9/10. It's Ziggy Stardust. It's amazing. Need I say more? From front to back, this album is nearly perfect. Opener Five Years is one of my personal favorite Bowie songs. Moonage Daydream and It Ain't Easy are other standouts from Side 1. Side 2 keeps up the quality. The last three songs on the album are all incredible. Still, the album's standout song is Starman. It's one of the most used Bowie songs in media for a reason. Following an alien rockstar, Ziggy Stardust is also Bowie's first attempt at telling a single, cohesive story with an album. I think he does this better in the future, but the themes and narrative are still effective in this album. If you have never listened to David Bowie, this is the album I think you should start with.”
