“This has a PG-13 rating and I would recommend this one for adolescent age and above because it is a beautiful movie. It deals with some tough subjects but it is also full of joy, love, mischievousness, humor, and summer fun. Very loosely based off Spike Lee's childhood, if memory serves. The soundtrack is phenomenal with acts Crooklyn Dodgers, Staple Singers, Jackson 5, The Sylistics, Sly and the Family Stone, just to name a few.”
