Un Pépé En Or

“A1. 100% Coton (1:10) – An eerie, dub-influenced intro layered with old soul diva vocals. A2. 18 Carats (5:24) – A revolutionary house track built on a heavy beat, distinct keyboard licks, and clever audio cutouts using Gil Scott-Heron and disco vocal samples. A3. Un Pépé Dans La Dentelle (1:59) – A downtempo hip-hop instrumental utilizing jazz saxophone and clarinet elements woven with old Eric B. & Rakim samples. B1. Lara (7:04) – Considered a timeless gem of the French underground. It delivers a warm, hypnotic deep house groove by sampling Lonnie Liston Smith’s cosmic jazz classic "Starlight and You". B2. Wonderbra (6:03) – A driving electronic closer that leans into darker, high-energy chugging textures.”
