“A hotel with an incredibly deep history in the area that dates back to 1873. What first started out as a 350–400-year-old samurai residence became Japan's first foreign guest house (this is in a separate location from where the current hotel is). Since then, historical figures like Albert Einstein and Helen Keller have been guests here and you can really feel its history when you step through the hotel entrance.
