This American Life - Season 1, Episode 2: My Way

“Yes, the This American Life tv show. I recently bought it to see if it was as good as I remember — it does hold up. Ahead of it’s time! So sad there isn’t more. It’s so wacky and fun. All of the episodes are great, but I’m choosing this one for a fun reason. I transferred to a new college my junior year, and swore I recognized a kid in a natural history class but couldn’t figure out how. He was from Massachusetts, I was from Oregon… I wracked my brain for weeks until I miraculously recognized him as Joe No Love from this episode. Later, I encouraged his now-wife to date him, and I now take much too much credit for their relationship.”
