The Stettheimer Dollhouse

“A small marvel created by Carrie Stettheimer, one of the fabulous Stettheimer sisters (her sister Florine has paintings in The Met, among other places). The Stettheimers were pals with a who's who of artists, and the gallery in Carrie's dollhouse includes actual tiny works of art made by their famous friends—Marcel Duchamp even made her a mini version of Nude Descending a Staircase. If you go, look for the Noah's Ark painting in the nursery: "The decor of the design spared no detail, reflecting the decor of the family’s Manhattan home; Stettheimer crafed Empire wallpaper, Limoges vases, Louis XV furniture, pots, pans, and everything else seemingly imaginable. A painting of Noah’s ark in a nursery shows the three sisters, with their pets on leashes, waiting to board the ark itself."
