Winter dressing is more fun!

“The best part about freezing your ass off is getting to have more fun with layering and accessorising. Before moving to Melbourne, I grew up in a hot climate, and we would just wear outfits that kept us from having a sweat-induced panic attack. But living in a cooler climate means you get to be a little more creative with the 'fits because you're forced to be more intentional and thoughtful about your choices. Which supports my theory that places with worse weather have people with better style living in them & more exciting, creative & cultural activities to do when the weather sucks! Fun stockings/tights, cute colourful socks, investing in a really good quality coat, a favourite pair of leather boots, hats, scarves, gloves, jewellery, sunglasses, hair clips - the options are endless and so fun!”
