Birthday trivia: Making a personalized trivia game for someone is the sweetest gift!! My sister did this as a surprise for my birthday party and I can’t put a price on how it felt to receive. You can make slides with questions about someone’s life (and photos) or we’ve also done it using Kahoot which works great!

Host a dessert potluck: Five years ago, I was pregnant on my birthday (which is in late October). Still loving a good birthday party, but not wanting it to be alcohol-focused, I had one of my most brilliant ideas: a dessert potluck. The rules were simple: make a dessert to share and come watch a scary movie in our backyard. It was such a hit that it is now tradition.
