These are some of the places that I loved when I was a t(w)eenager in NYC (downtown Manhattan & Northwest BK) in the 2000s, before "Uber Eats" and "Resy" were even tadpoles in the ocean of doom.

And they still exist! Patronizing them sometimes feels like a way of time traveling out of Mordor.
