The Moccamaster is it.: We were high labor coffee people for a long long time. We hand ground our beans and have basically every analog coffee maker, but the Chemex was our ride or die. Then we stayed at my grandma’s beach house and decided to be cute and try the MoccaMaster almost as a joke… we bought a refurbished one soon after and I have never looked back. It does a better job and is more consistent than I could ever do or be.

Ratio Four Coffee Machine: Recently picked up the Ratio Four, and I’ve been really enjoying how simple and intuitive it is to use. It’s a relatively affordable automatic pour-over machine that takes most of the guesswork out of the process without making things complicated.

Just drop in a compatible filter, dose your coffee as you normally would for a pour-over, add your desired amount of water, press a button, and let it do its thing. The only real variable you need to dial in is your grind size, and once you find your sweet spot, you’re pretty much set for a consistently yummy cup of coffee.

I’m still working out a few kinks since I’ve only had it for a little while, but so far, it’s been a super straightforward way to get a great cup without having to stand over a kettle every morning. Definitely worth checking out if you want the simplicity of an automatic brewer with the feel of a pour-over.

MoccaMaster has ruined takeaway coffee for me: The most used machine in my household. I've had it about five years and it looks brand new and hasn't had any issues despite daily use (or more). I clean it with the official solution about twice a year to make sure the building up is taken care of.

MoccaMaster is what it says: The master. We are coffee people. Not espresso drink people. We love ours. Completely changed the game to the point that I don’t love coffee from a lot of places now. Just want to drink it at home. Get a great color.
