The Moccamaster is it.
We were high labor coffee people for a long long time. We hand ground our beans and have basically every analog coffee maker, but the Chemex was our ride or die. Then we stayed at my grandma’s beach house and decided to be cute and try the MoccaMaster almost as a joke… we bought a refurbished one soon after and I have never looked back. It does a better job and is more consistent than I could ever do or be.
