Kinder Surprise Eggs from Back in the Day

If we extrapolate backwards from current trends of falling candy-prize quality the original Cracker Jack prizes must have been diamond rings. Same with Kinder Eggs - the first one you opened probably had a tiny watercolor set or a metal figurine in it, the current eggs will have models that are slightly less intricate and slightly worse than the ones you got twenty years ago. Still, they’ll beat Cracker Jack hands down, the Cracker Jack people stopped trying in 1971. Americans will have to know somebody who knows somebody, or otherwise work a little harder to get these.
