PLEASE help me source beautiful but affordable furniture for my new flat. I love warm tones, modernist design, and a curated but lived-in feel. UK based and I have no furniture so i’m looking for everything!

I’m moving into a flat with a spare bedroom! I want to host guests (and since I moved to a new country, visitors will likely be staying for at least a week) but also want my floor space back when they leave. Any recs that comfortably and gracefully solve this dilemma? An actually-comfy sofa bed? Something more creative?

Starting my master’s at Oxford soon (yay) and seeking a sub-$200 computer/book/gym clothes bag (not backpack) that says “despite how academia can steal one’s joie de vivre, I am young and adventurous and am moving to this ancient city from Brooklyn NY.” Bonus points if it can be worn crossbody to distribute weight!
