PLEASE help me source beautiful but affordable furniture for my new flat. I love warm tones, modernist design, and a curated but lived-in feel. UK based and I have no furniture so i’m looking for everything!

I’m moving into a flat with a spare bedroom! I want to host guests (and since I moved to a new country, visitors will likely be staying for at least a week) but also want my floor space back when they leave. Any recs that comfortably and gracefully solve this dilemma? An actually-comfy sofa bed? Something more creative?

Starting my master’s at Oxford soon (yay) and seeking a sub-$200 computer/book/gym clothes bag (not backpack) that says “despite how academia can steal one’s joie de vivre, I am young and adventurous and am moving to this ancient city from Brooklyn NY.” Bonus points if it can be worn crossbody to distribute weight!

Gorgeous, scenic, chic *free or cheap* activities/restaurants for a week in Paris when you’ve spent your daily travel budget on the hotel??

Where do the cool kids hang out in Berlin/Prague/Budapest/Vienna/Munich? And what *must* I do/see as a tourist? Ideally cheap or free!

Loungey-yoga-pajama sets?? Looking for something cute to wear around hostels/sleep in that doesn't look super pajama-y, but I also don't want to feel capital-E Exposed.

Thoughtful, longer, generally good-vibed book to keep on me while i backpack central europe this summer?? Something intriguing enough to keep me hooked but not so fast-paced i devour it in days. I need it to last me at least a month!

Best way to move personal items cross-country?? I’m moving almost no furniture, but I have 3 turntables, hundreds of records, a large closet, art, and various personal effects. Not enough to hire a moving company but too much to feel comfy shipping it…
