An excellent wine bar that doubles as an ice cream shop in summer. Make sure to try the olive oil ice cream and don’t fear the line (it’s fast and the bouncer is friendly).

Candelaria is known for being an upscale Mexican speakeasy, but I would venture that the best time to be had is in the taqueria storefront. Chat with the staff and waiting patrons, drink exceptional margs, and nosh on quesadillas. And, their merch is chic. I bought their sweatshirt years ago and still get compliments on it.

After years on the Worlds Best Bars list, it’s become a bit touristy. But, the ever changing themed menus offer something unexpected to explore and the staff remains unmatched in warmth and knowledge. Pro-tip 1: the staff will provide a pocket sized list of other bars they recommend if you ask. Pro-tip 2: the entrance is to the left of the little red door.
