beaverkill covered bridge historic site

never felt more strongly about a rec. this is literal heaven on earth – the most beautiful swimming spot i have ever visited. a river underneath a historic covered bridge with the clearest water i've ever seen, rocks to lounge on, and fishies galore! i think this has got to be one of the best places in the whole wide world. getting teary thinking about it. ps - found this on @cole's incredible rec for swimming holes near nyc. one of the best recs on the league.

two minute paved path to a waterfall that flows into a natural pool that you can swim in!! absolutely gorgeous spot complete with lifeguards and a diving board - great for kids i'd imagine! i love new york!

a fantastic (pretty short) hike along a gorge that has 19 waterfalls and just generally awesome water pools and erosion! super cool geology too! multiple walk under a waterfall locations. a new york state GEM!
