Using Rec League to curb my shopping addiction!!! I have a theory that when I'm online shopping furiously, I'm not necessarily trying to own everything. I'm gathering. There has to be something anthropological buried in there. The searching, comparing, finding the perfect thing, putting it somewhere for safekeeping. Maybe my gatherer brain has just been given Wi-Fi and a credit card. Since I started using Rec League, I've barely bought anything online. And it's not because I've stopped wanting things. My collections are FULL of things I would happily put in my cart and check out immediately if I had infinite money. But I've realised that simply finding something and adding it to the right collection scratches a surprising amount of the itch. I get to hunt. I get to choose. I get to collect. I just don't have to own. So my recommendation is... my own Rec League lol. Partly because I want to share all the things I've gathered, but mostly because using it this way has genuinely become a shopping life hack for me. Is anyone else doing this??
