Pickled Okra

I’ve never made these myself. Fresh okra has an extremely short shelf life and that’s always intimidated me but, were I to pickle them myself, I’d probably try this bon appetit recipe. I get mine from the grocery store and I think the brine contains garlic, mustard seeds, dill, and red pepper. It’s a delicious snack especially with a semi-hard cheese

Pleated clothing

The link will lead you to a gown by Mariano Fortuny, but this rec is for pleats in general. Micro pleats, fortuny pleats, tartan pleats, I love them all. An obvious master is the late, great Issey Miyake, but I would also look into Patricia Lester(whose work I adore), Mary McFadden, and Ellen Hauptli.
