Its complicated came out in 2009 and since the moment I watched it, the family home cemented a special place in my heart. Jon Hutman, the designer, did such a fabulous job at creating a space that feels both lived in yet peaceful and entirely delicious. And it wasn’t even just the home, because the outdoors and the bakery were to die for as well. Interestingly, “California coastal” is not even my favorite interiors aesthetic, but there’s something about the feeling that the house left me with that has never left my side.
