freezer popcorn
•••
Toss that bag of popcorn in the freezer right after you finish popping it. Leave it there for a delicious half hour to hour. Locks in the butter on each piece instead of the inside of the bag, plus no butter grease on your fingers when you eat it.

Instagram as a digital scrapbook
•••
Avoid the constant watching others watching yourself watching others of social media platforms like Instagram by using it as your own virtual memory repository. I like to post once a month, with posts composed of the photos I’ve taken over the past month as a semi-archive of stand out moments — a view I loved, a hyper-specific meme I made, an event I went to, a song I’ve been listening to on repeat, etc. Ever feel like the days fly by and that you can’t remember what you did? This helps with that, and it’s like a digital version of flipping through a photo album. It doesn’t even matter if the quality of the photo/video isn’t great because, as a wise girl with 365 buttons once said: It actually only has to make sense to me 💅🏻
