Miles Davis Quintet with John Coltrane - Someday My Prince Will Come
•••
The picture is just an album cover. This is my all-time favorite piece of art to HEAR. And the backstory is incredible. See the youtube comment for some of it. This is the last album John Coltrane and Miles Davis ever played on together. John Coltrane's solo is near the end. Hank Mobley is the listed tenor played on the album, but for this particular take, Coltrane just showed up during the recording and nailed it cold.
