Fancy treats at Providore

After teaching a class, may I suggest a wander down the block to Providore Fine Foods, Portland’s fanciest shmanciest grocer. There are lots of treats to be found here, but I recommend some exorbitantly expensive potato chips — the Breton Jura are my fav. Get some a glass of wine to go with if that’s your speed, or grab an esoteric bubbly bev. Grab yourself a silly little candy at the checkout too.

If you need something more substantial, Arrostro is good, and the deli always has some goods.

Heart Coffee is a quick little jaunt over on Burnside, too, and our most Scandinavian option!
