Tamar changed the way I cook. I love her writing and her recipes (the white bolognese is wowowow) — the pages of this thing are absolutely wrecked with notes and food stains. She really shifted how I think about what I have on hand, the bits and bobs hanging out in my fridge and pantry, and how it can be spun into something delicious. I will be so weird if I ever meet her!

I think this is THE BOOK on cooking/eating/living. It is so remarkable and I feel like is the ground work of all the "cooking at home" themed cookbooks coming out right now. Would also be so weird if I met her, big "you changed my life" kind of vibes from me for sure

“Keep this out on your counter all of the time and stop wasting stuff. I am obsessed with the index in the back. Absolutely bonkers amount of thought went into this cookbook and it is perfect. There is almost no leftover scrap you cannot find in here.”

Ginny Branch
“The best cookbook. I am a terrible cook but I love Tamra’s adaptation of MK Fisher’s How to Cook a Wolf. Her writing is so lovely and makes cooking feel less intimidating and more approachable. If I get a wild hair to cook, this is often what I’ll flip through first!”

Joy Fowlkes
“Less memoir, more meditation on cookery!”
