Nothing diffuses a potential fight in the moment like saying, let’s not ruin the weekend, let’s schedule this for next week. Pick a day to have your argument! It feels ridiculous and silly. By the time you get there, you often have forgotten about it, or the temperature has cooled immensely and you can have a better conversation. Obviously this rec pertains to low stakes arguments.
