Upcycling thrift store finds to make one of a kind colourful art that makes you smile
•••
Dopamine baby! I love seeing things that could be more, buying from thrift stores mean it’s less likely to end up in the garbage. The art you end up with is absolutely unique and completely your own. And upcycling challenges you to think outside the box. Plus it’s super cheap! This was painted using dollarama paints and dollarama paint pens, and the plaque is from there too.

Testing out different colour palettes on procreate before you paint an upcycle project
•••
I love to upcycle things by painting them bright colours. The best way to make sure you like the colours you’ve chosen is to take a photo of the project and play with the colours in procreate before you get the brushes out.
