Hike Tents: I am sure you’ve already heard great things, so I will just double down and say Tents is a quick hike but a worthwhile adventure through cone-shaped rock formations (Consider grabbing lunch at Rancho De Chimayo on the way!)

Los Poblanos Historic Inn & Organic Farm: Drop in to see the lavender farms, or stick around to dine or stay for an overnight in Albuquerque, if you have the time! (Grab a bite at El Modelo, and head to the airport.)

sopapillas with honey butter at tomasita’s: one of our friends is from santa fe and this is the first restaurant he took us to when we visited! the food is great, the cocktails are massive, but the sopapillas… oof. life changing. they come with the honey butter and they’re impossible not to devour

Also, Ten Thousand Waves is the spa everyone raved about in NM, and would drive from hours away to spend time at in Santa Fe.

Tia Sophia’s - Santa Fe: Tia’s is THE PLACE to get your lunchtime fix of red chile. It’s within walking distance of the plaza, and their sopapillas are to die for.

ojo santa fe: Ojo Santa Fe and Ojo Caliente (hour north) are both so great. Rent a private room with kiva, or just explore the many pools. Great food on site.

10 thousand waves!: This place is amazing and I highly recommend renting a private space with your own sauna/cold plunge/hot tub! It’s pretty affordable and so lovely.
