Cafe Fina

It’s a boomer haven, but the boomers have it figured out here. It’s on the way to Galisteo and the Pecos regions—so good place to stop for breakfast on the way to a hike. You can’t go wrong with what you order but I always get the Migas or the shaker lemon pie.

Dolina, which I think is run by the ex-wife of the owner of Fina, is also excellent and located closer to the city center. (They share some of the same menu items.)

You can still scratch the itch for New Mexican cuisine with both, but they have good variety based on local fresh ingredients and their own authentic take on good food.
