Never stop learning about what's interesting to yourself and others as well.
What do you think of when you hear/read the word “poser” (poseur)? If you grew up at a time when this word cut to the bone, what community were you a part of where this word would have been an instant gut punch? Skateboarding, BMX, Metal Heads … etc? My hypothesis: As digital life evolved, information became more readily available. In the 80s and 90s the proximity to what was considered cool meant work. You had to be at the right places with the right people and show your capability to not only talk about a topic, but prove in-person you were serious. Digital life allowed quicker persona changes and broke the barriers of “knowing” to evolve into a new form of knowledge minus the physical footpath to get there. One request: No generational rock throwing, please.
