This is my dog’s adoption photo. His name is Dave.

I saw this pic and I realized this is THE ONE.

Adopting a dog is the best thing I’ve ever done.

I didn’t have to potty train him.

He didn’t chew on all of my things (only ruined the couch and rug really).

He forces me to go outside at least 5x per day.

Makes me laugh every day. Keeps me on my toes. Always trying to eat chicken bones in the bushes.

The best thing.

Reminds me what true love is.

I love this so much! And mild rant – why are there so many chicken bones in bushes? Like, can you please keep your choking hazards to yourself and throw them in a trash? Rant over

I live across the street from a lagoon so there’s many birds who LOVE to dig into the trash!! Squirrels not as much but yes to rats and other dumpster diver type critters.
