Saline Nasal Spray for Respiratory Illness Defense

When flying, the dry cabin area dries out all the protective little hairs and lining of your sinus cavities and makes it easier for viruses etc to make it past your defenses. Ten years ago, a frequent flyer I knew recommended spraying a bit of saline nasal spray in their nostrils before and midway through flights and I swear I haven’t picked up a travel respiratory bug since. Also good for just being in the office or around lots of humans come winter.

Any generic saline nasal spray brand from your local pharmacy of choice will do! I buy them in bulk to stash in every travel and work bag so I’m never without it.
