Love a hotel room with a big bathtub and that’s what you will find here in the junior sweets and some others I believe. Dark chocolate and cherry hues abound, a very sexy hotel.

Very chic and antique and also very weird - or at least I find the pork centric choucroute to be graphic. Someone should order it for the experience but it’s not going to be me. The rest of the menu is just as well done, anything seafood is my pick and you can’t beat the waiters in tuxes.

Eat like a king and leave happy in an opulent environment, what more could you want? The food is simple and shockingly affordable making it hard not to enjoy. Amazing for big groups, order everything and walk out with a bill that leaves you free to go shopping. Also feels like time travel, a major plus. I love the leeks.

Since the age of 23, I have never been to Paris and not gone here. I consider moving to Paris to be able to go here weekly and the fact there is nothing like this in my current home city is one of the major points I have against it. Ladies only, be on your best behavior and buy one of each of the products they have at the check in desk so you can try to replicate some of the experience at home. Get the full package that comes with tea, sweets and an early dinner after your treatments. To me, this is a perfect day.

This is a tradition for me in Paris. Maybe you live in a place with lots of non-native supplies available but as someone living in Europe for almost 10 years I have to make pilgrimages. The Ayurvedic section is incredible for body care, the essential oil selection is abundant and I get a lot of teas, spices and condiments in the food area. Get a samosa as a snack at the cash wrap!
