Spotted Cow
•••
A classic wheat beer and jewel of the Midwest. Cloudy and crisp, Reinheitsgebot-compliant, and Wisconsin-local (sold only in WI from New Glarus), it is a must-try and a must-smuggle-out if passing through the state!

Post-Prandial Critter Walks
•••
After a big dinner, go for a walk and count all the lil' strange critters you see. Dogs and cats? Check! Fireflies or lady bugs? Count 'em up! Stone gargoyles, sidewalk chalk drawings, or traveling leaves? If you want, keep a tally! I find it helps to settle the food, keep the memory sharp, see things about your town that you'd otherwise miss, and calm the nerves. Recent example (yesterday's walk): 9x dogs, 2x cats, 3x squirrel, 2x house lion statues, and 1x flying dandelion puff.
