When mom saying it’s time to brush teeth prompts a meltdown, I pretend the spirit of The Sandman possessed me. I wiggle my fingers and make a face and sing brushy brush-ooo brushy brush-ahh etc. He’s 2.5 and has no idea who Adam Sandler is but it’s an entryway to silliness, it gets him brushing, and most importantly it’s fun for me.
